Golf Operations Team Member

Position Overview

This team member serves as the on-course ambassador for daily play operations, ensuring pace of play, guest satisfaction, and proper cart management from open to close.

Key Responsibilities

Starter Duties

• Coordinate tee times and manage first-tee flow

• Communicate course expectations and pace-of-play standards

• Provide clear, confident instructions to golfers

Ranger Duties

• Monitor pace of play on course

• Provide courteous but firm guidance when groups fall behind

• Enforce course policies professionally

Cart Valet Duties

• Stage, clean, and prepare golf carts for daily play

• Refuel carts safely and efficiently

• Clean, inspect, and secure all carts at the end of the day

• Lock up and assist with course closing procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Understanding of golf etiquette and pace of play (or willingness to learn quickly)

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to give firm direction respectfully — even when golfers are resistant

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed

Compensation

• $15.00 per hour
